How Long Does a Manicure and Pedicure Take?
Typical times for a manicure, a pedicure, and both together, plus what makes an appointment longer and how to avoid waiting.
How long does a manicure and pedicure take? As a rough guide, a manicure and pedicure together take around one to two hours, depending on the treatments you choose and whether you add nail art. Here's the breakdown.
Typical times
These are general guides. The Siriana app shows the exact length of each service before you book.
- Classic manicure: about 30 to 45 minutes
- Gel manicure: about 45 to 60 minutes
- Classic pedicure: about 45 to 60 minutes
- Gel pedicure: about 60 minutes
- Removal of old gel or acrylic: add 15 to 30 minutes
- Nail art: depends on the design (printed designs are much quicker than freehand)
What makes it take longer?
- Removing an old set. Gel and acrylic need to come off properly first.
- Freehand nail art. Detailed hand painting is slow. At Siriana, nail printing machines print detailed designs in moments.
- Waiting for your turn. Often the biggest delay isn't the treatment at all, it's the queue.
How to save time
- Book ahead instead of walking in. At Siriana, a booking reserves your time, so you don't wait for a chair. More on that in Walk-in or Booked?
- Choose your design before you arrive, so you're not deciding in the chair.
- Tell us about any removal when you book, so it's included in your time.
Why Siriana
Faster service, better quality from nail printing machines, and no waiting: your appointment starts when you arrive. Current prices and treatment times are always in the Siriana app.
